What's different about London

What moves your quote up or down
- Capacity and power output — Usable kWh sets what you can shift each day; kW output sets how much you can run at once. Both move the price.
- Retrofit or fitted with solar — Adding a battery to existing solar is usually AC-coupled. Fitting both together shares the inverter and labour, so it costs less overall.
- Brand and warranty — GivEnergy, Tesla, Sunsynk, Fox ESS and Solax are all common with UK installers, with 10-year warranties but different capacity-retention terms.
- Backup power — If you want the lights on in a power cut you need EPS or whole-home backup specified, plus a transfer switch.
